Paul Maher Jr. is an author, visual artist, photographer and filmmaker. He is the author and editor of I Am the Revolutionary: Young Jack Kerouac; Miles on Miles: Interviews and Encounters with Miles Davis; One Big Soul: An Oral Biography of Terrence Malick; Kerouac: His Life and Work; Tom Waits on Tom Waits: Empty Phantoms: Extracts Related to the Indians (Notebooks I and II) compiled by Henry David Thoreau.
Maher is currently in pre-production with Caitlin Stuart a film on Henry David Thoreau, to be executive produced by Terrence Malick.
He is also writing a number of novels, and other nonfiction works.
